Government Elected Officials

This is my opinion and I would like to hear yours. Out elected officials should be working to do what is best for our country and the American people. In the last four plus years I have not seen them doing anything to benefit the country or the people who elected them. When a Senator tells the Trump administration "screw you and the horse you rode in on" shows me a spoiled brat that is not doing his job at all. Who is the horse they rode in on? That is the American people who voted to end all the corruption and crazy spending. To stop sending billions of dollars to fund a war that is killing people on both sides. Why would anyone do that when we have people starving, struggling and in need like North Carolina?

When we see all the crying, screaming and bad behavior in congress and the senate it does not say much about working together as a team to benefit the country and its people. Plus we have no way of reprimanding those representatives. Once elected, they can be there for life with only two ways of removing anyone who is doing things that do not help us in any way but are destroying the country. One way would be impeachment which never happens and the other would be to vote them out. I just believe if someone does not do what is good and right, they should be fired immediately.

Please let me know your thoughts on this subject. Being divided is not helping anyone. We do not need deception and lies as they will not benefit our children and grandchildren. I have within me the knowing of right and wrong, what is good and what is bad. It seems some do not, which is sad.
